Telford & Wrekin Council have produced a welcome pack in Polish and Slovakian for new immigrants into the borough who can’t speak English.
A couple of issues with this. Firstly, they can’t speak English so why are they here? Secondly, if they can’t speak English they probably won’t have a job or will be on a very low income. If they’re unemployed or on a low income they will get benefits. If they get benefits they probably won’t have to pay council tax. So why is it a good use of council taxpayers money to create these welcome packs for unemployable economic migrants who take more fromt he local economy than they contribute to it?
Here’s why:
Cllr Ian Baker, Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “In Telford and Wrekin we benefit from having a rich and diverse community. There are people from many different backgrounds and cultures in the borough and we embrace all those cultures and communities wholeheartedly.
“This work shows how dedicated we are to ensuring people feel as welcome as possible here.”
You’d never have guessed they were a wishy washy multi-culti immigrant hugging Labour council would you?
There are loads of Poles round our way – and someone is making a fortune from them. We live in a small town, one up from a village on the Lancashire plain – in the middle of nowhere, but they’re here. They live in ordinary semis, God knows how many to a room – but they are packed in like sardines…… and I have no idea why someone isn’t creating a stink about it.
We used to have a great load of lads from Spain and Portugal who used to come over every Spring through to Christmas to work on the surrounding farms. They had been coming over for decades (since just after the 2nd WW) to do this work, everybody knew and liked them, they were great workers, and whole families came over year after year…..
Up till this year that is, the Poles arrived and undercut the lot of them – now the place is full of Polish youth with bad hair cuts. They are aggressive, loud and every Saturday night buy up huge quantities of beer at the off licence to take home. I’m amazed there hasn’t been any fights yet – our town has a high teen dickhead quotient, so I guess it’s only a matter of time before things kick off.
The Poles have also started to bite into the unskilled labour market – most of my Sons friends are now unemployed – the rest are doing meaningless degree courses before graduating – and they too being unemployed. We used to have a really healthy little mixed economy round here – but the skills have gone, to be replaced with people I didn’t really think we actually needed.
A young Polish woman dumped his pre school kid with my sister in law at her reception school class. He just dumped her saying in very broken english that he would be back later. She was left with a kid she had never seen before…..
I can see more problems ahead. If a recession ever hits Britain again, then look out, the stuff will hit the fan big style.
Trying desperately to find a silver lining to this situation.
At least they’re not Muslims.

And judging by the comments of Abu Izzadeen, talking to John Humphries this morning, the blood will be that of Indiginous White English people. And how long will it be until we are the minority to the Muslims in our own Country.
