Emperor Barroso speaks to his subjects

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

Jose Manuel Barroso appears to have declared himself the first Emperor of Europe.

For some reason he has decided that the EU is like an empire and, being its president, he must surely be the emperor. If ever there was evidence needed that the EU has imperialistic ambitions, Emperor Barroso has just provided it.

My grasp of Latin is pretty poor but I think this sums it up (please correct my grammar if it’s wrong):
Venio, Vidio, Vicio, Dictatio

Barroso is not the emperor of Europe; he is simply the EU Commission President who holds very little power within the general scheme of things for the running of the EU.
The newly created full time position for a Council of Europe president will be the emperor of Europe, and will also be the Biblical Antichrist. Keep a very close eye on retired British Prime Minister Tony Blair to fulfil this role. More information may be found on my website at http://www.revelations.org.au

True, the EU president has very little power. The President and the council have very little power. All power they have is given to them by the member states form the council of ministers, who are keen not to give away much power. The commisions and the Presidents power are limited to those that member states want to give it, i.e power to make decisions that the member states know will be unpopular.
