I’m sure I’ve ranted before about junkies getting preferential treatment in chemists when they’re going for their methedone – the pharmacists drop everything, actually stop serving people, to give them their medication.
Today I’ve seen the best one of all – so good, in fact, that I couldn’t help saying something.
Two young lads walked in, laughing and shouting and asked for some needles. A pharmacist stopped what she was doing and went and got a pack of needles and put them in a bag and gave them to the lads. They didn’t pay, they didn’t need a prescription, nothing. They do drugs and instead of being punished for illegally possessing and taking drugs, they are actually helped free of charge on the NHS!
It’s amazing, isn’t it, that while cancer patients are being refused life saving cancer treatments and asthmatics have to pay for their life saving inhalers, that junkies get methedone and needles for free on the NHS.
It’s becuase pharmacists want to get the junkies out their shop ASAP so they don’t create a scene and / or upset other customers. They don’t want to lose customers that drop in for pain killers / vitamins / shampoo, which they will do if their shop has a reputation for containing agressive and smelly drug users that have aids.
By the way Ross, we have an identity, its called being English, we were born in England our parents were born in
England, their pareents were born in England, thats what we identify with, what is your definition of your Scots identity then?
Why in your opinion are you to be proud of being Scottish if identity and birthright are meaningless?
Why is it only the English that are refused an identity in the so called Union?
Look at the opinion polls, most English want the Scots to vote for independence, but in all probability they won’t because they merely shout over the Border at us, it is just bravado with no backbone to back it up !!
Ross, in healthy society drug addicts must be isolated in prisons or concentration camps. In politically-correct ill modern society they are allowed to wonder the streets and pose a threat to normal people.
